Slightly off topic, but why the ufck do people put big tellies on their walls some 5 or 6 feet off the ground meaning they have to constantly look up and struggle to see the picture because of reflections from windows and stuff?
Because that's the exact spot my eyes fall when lounging on the couch. I'm not stupid, thanks 🙂
that would be a 6% difference in all up rider+bike+kit weight so not really much faster
Ever ridden a 19lb bike Barnes? I thought not!
The maths does not support the impression of speed. Most of the weight involved is muscles, heart, lungs etc etc. So as a proprtion of the DEAD weight it's quite a bit.
A 5% difference in all-up weight between my lightest and heaviest bikes corresponds to a 15% difference in times up the climb at Cwmcarn. Go figure.
