Just found a solution for those of us using mac osx and looking for some kind of GPS software. I use my GPS72 from Garmin for route following and data logging about routes completed.
I’ve found that Link2gps from hightech software connects my serial/usb converter to the gps and allows simple upload and download of route data. Simple as, no converting into CSV files as with.
I don’t need a gps to replace a map so it’s screen being black and white dose not really matter, but files from bikley downloaded a gpx work very simply now. And it’s shareware.
