I thought it was pretty good. I reckon she’s a class act and the session musicians prove they are vastly superior to most established bands. No surprise there though.
know it sounds daft but how do you access the ‘red button’? pressed it and it just took me to 3 separate bbc channels, no choosing what to watch, that right?
spose i can look on iplayer during the week for bits and bobs.
just caught a bit of the maccabees, really like em.
So far I’ve liked The Waterboys , Staves , Young fathers and thought Paloma Faith was pretty decent. I’d like to see Suede but would no doubt be dragged along to see kanye. I doubt I’d miss the who for anything though.
We too are couchgoers but the beers in and the surround sound is worth it looking forward to Motorhead, Hot Chip, Waterboys, Goat, THE FRICKIN FALL! and don’t know what
Yeah, thought Young Fathers were very good too. Enjoyed The Waterboys set too as a bit of a throwback. Reckon I’d definitely head for Suede this evening.
Enjoyed Paloma & looking forward to Suede. Bit sick of seeing Burt Backache now though ..feel like I’ve seen his set 3 times ( & the singers were pants)
I saw a bit of the Young Fathers, it was good to see what they actually look like, I’ve only seen them in dark, dingy little clubs! Seemed to fit the festival scenario just as well.
Not seen anything that makes me think I ever should have gone or ever will go!
His sound does cross the hip hop, rock divide though not my cup of tea. I am surprised anyone in the crowd can see him. I think I would be searching out some drum and bass right now. I have not been enthused by the coverage so far apart from Jungle yesterday.
