Giant S-XC2 DW Aluminium wheelset opinions/advice

Anyone got these wheels? Any opinions they came on a bike I bought and I’m thinking of selling them.

WHEELS
Rims Giant S-XC2 DW aluminium
Hubs Shimano M525 rear, Giant Tracker Red Hub front
Spokes Stainless Steel

I removed the stickers rode them once round my local loop.

Any idea what I should price them at?

I’d have thought you’ll get in the region of £80-100 for them.

Someone was asking silly money (£150) for the same wheels on here last week and unsurprisingly got no interest. They are now on Ebay so might be worth watching to get an idea (they are at £50 with a day to go at the moment).

Specialized and Mondraker wheels with DT Swiss X430 rims and similar spec hubs are selling for around £100.

Yeah totally agree I’d only be looking for £80 really.

Thought they might as well be put to use on someone’s bike rather than sat in my kitchen.

Well the set on Ebay went for £94 plus £10 shipping so after deducting shipping, Ebay and Paypal fees he’ll have got just over £80.

I offered him £100 by Paypal gift when he advertised them here. The response was he’d rather drive over them. I hope he’s warming the car up.

ha ha ha ha ha well mine will be on here for £70 posted as they are standard QR.

I won’t be driving over them ha.
