So in summary everyone thinks the person they already liked has won?

    No. Not me.

Cameron is good there as he is more polished. Good PR team I guess … wonder how much the PR team get paid … hhmmm …

Impressed with Nicola, Natalie’s accent grated on me and unsure about Leanne’s policies.

that’s hardly a resounding vote for the tories…

Very true. Best of a bad bunch I’m afraid.

The biggest worry is that some of the intellectual giants that have posted their wan insights on this thread might actually be eligible to vote..

If the STW microcosm is reflective of society as a whole then we’re all going to hell in a bucket

Do you mean, “Some people might vote in a way that I don’t agree with”? Or, do you mean that “Anyone who votes in a way I don’t agree with shouldn’t be allowed to vote”?

Hang on. Cameron made this a ‘farce’ if you think that’s what it is by insisting on the world and his wife being there

He enhanced the farce but it was always going to be a farce. TV debates are only good for sound bite politics.

You mean we are all going to hell?

If yes, then what’s the problem with all of us in hell? 😈

Dear old Nicola and her AUSTERITY mission. Why doesn’t she repeat here Indy nonsense that they are the only party that can solve the deficit by cutting taxes and increasing spending. Has she changed her mind or just grown up?

    Lets buck the trend eh

I thought Dave was impressive and I am seriously considering voting Tory…your turn 😛

Its quite depressing. We are going to be governed by a minority government in a coallition with a party that didnt want to be part of the UK.

Sadly voting for none of them wont count.

    Democracy my arse.

    YouGov result:

It looks like (as YouGov result) the next coalition govt might come from Tory and UKIP because SNP will wipe the floor with Labour while the rest will have difficulty to master enough seats.

Imagine Tory and Labour form a govt … 😯 😆

The only thing I learnt was how pleasant and easy to listen the Welsh accent is.

And I was reminded of how depressing the state of British politics is …. seven party leaders, not one genuine left-winger.

I’m not sure what that has to do with tonight’s TV debate but if we are going to post random stuff here’s my contribution :

See if you can figure out what years the Tories were in government.

regardless of who you thought won(I don’t particularly care, it’s in the eye of the beholder). I was pleasantly surprised by the debate. It was better than my, very low, expectations.

Overall, I think they more or less all came out not bad.

Farage looked very squirmy at one point though. Although he probably appealed to his rabid core support.

I thought stugeon did well, and the fear the tories have been peddling about a lab minority governemnt with the SNP keeping them in check may well be lessoned a little.

I think that’s the ultimate outcome. Overall, not a bad night for labour, despite Ed continuing along with his overly coached puppet routine.

My final observation is one that is especially relevant during a general election campaign – that, to quite a large extent, the political debate on the economy suffers from an illusion of control

    I agree with that guy

I also agree with what Gary linekar said on twitter
