Why does everyone assume that more people going to university is the way forward?

Students don’t count on the unemployment figures. Get lots of people at uni and BAM! Instant drop in unemployment.

I hate to say it but Farage hit the nail on the head: improve education at the school level.

Painfully, Nick clegg seems quite good, however how he can ever say that cutting money on education is wrong is bloody unbelievable!

Going to university is important as it gives you the skills to get a higher value job. The problem we have is that we aren’t creating higher value jobs. Uk Productivity, a measure of higher value jobs, has been stagnant since 2007. It’s worse than many eu countries.

Why did Farage make that entirely discredited crack about England baling out Scotland in tax? That was put to bed in the IndyRef.

Nigel Farage; tough on Scots, tough on the causes of Scottishness.

They are all tough on Scotland because Scotland is a colony they are not willing to give up. 🙄

I think Farage has this wrapped up.
Milliband is as unconvincing as Clegg.

    Cameron struggling.

And Sturgeon “none of us can afford more austerity”!! Oh dear!!

Only just got in so starting on recording. Nats was awful and Farrage straight into uncontrolled immigration and then a wet Cleggy start. Can I stay up to 23:45 to watch this???

Oh god sturgeon has the DOs mannerisms and LTEP in Dave’s first sentance.

Clegg lost all credibility when he demonstrated he didn’t understand the source of the global financial crisis.

Impressed with Wood – sounds much more natural, no histrionics. Cameron, Miliband, Clegg just sound like pointless nerds 🙁

It’s simple. The recession was caused by too much personal debt. Whereas this recovery is far more sustainable and has been driven by… Oh, hang on. Personal debt.

The women wiped floor with the men.

    Farage committed political suicide.
Cameron did his best to hide.
Miliband spent too much looking into the camera.

    Very interesting.

SNP, Greens and Plaid are irrelevant. Farage is a smug, bigoted prick who thinks everything can be blamed on immigrants. Miliband lacks sincerity, especially with his damn hand waving antics. Clegg looks at ease but doesn’t have a clue. Cameron is struggling and looks scared (but to be fair, he realised that this would be a farce at the start and never wanted to be there) but he’s the only one can actually support his proposals with facts based on performance over the last 5 years.

No one comes out of this looking good but Cameron looks less bad than the rest.

Unfortunate then that she represents the only real alternative to the neoliberal master plan.

The Oscar goes to … (drum roll)

    In order of winners.

    1. Cameron – for being calmed and composed.
    2. Farage – for being direct to the point.
    3. Sturgeon – for being able to put others in their position.
    4. Wood – for speaking nicely and clearly.
    5. Milliband – for being ambitious.
    6. Clegg – for his supporting role.
    7. Bennet – for being there.

Hang on. Cameron made this a ‘farce’ if you think that’s what it is by insisting on the world and his wife being there
