I’ve got a steel frame with quite a bit of extra room between the dropouts. 15mm or more.

Tightening the QR brings them back, but I’m thinking if one side is flexed more than the other, the back might not be aligned when it’s tightened up.

Plus there’s been one occasion where I rode off for a while with the drop out sitting on the QR skewer, rather than the hub end.

I could just stand on the dropouts without the wheel in, but I want to get some piece of mind that it’s all ticket-boo, and that’s not going to help.

Anyone know any artful framecheckers/benders in Surrey/East Sussex/ Hants? Curtis is and hour and a half away, I’ll try them unless anyone’s got ideas someone closer to Haslemere?

    Ta!
