Fox Talas lockout lever ‘balls’

Just started changing the seals on my ’07 Talas 32 RL and I’ve taken the lockout lever off to discover that the 3 little balls set into the inside circumference are missing.
Anybody know what size they are and if they’re absolutely necessary (it has been working fine without them if they’ve been missing a while)
