Sir Jim seems to be in some kind of competition to make himself even more unpopular than the Glazers. His penny-pinching with staff, stewards and supporters stands in sharp contrast to the ‘pissed sailor on shore leave’ headless chicken profligacy in the transfer market.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss…

I don’t much like the bloke anyway but it’s amusing how he keeps throwing money in to sports ventures and they all turn to shit, be that the borderline collapse of Team Sky/INEOS Grenadiers in the cycling, the same with Man Utd or the inability of INEOS Britannia to win the America’s Cup.

I thought he showed some promise at Derby but it seems to have been downhill ever since.

I think Liam Rosiner did a lot of the heavy lifting at Derby, he went on to be quite successful at Hull short term leaving Rooney to go solo since

Nah – apparently not a 4-1 today with West Ham missing a host of good chances. I think they’re too far back.
