I’m going to be riding in the FoD with another group that day but would love to come and join you afterwards if you’re going for a pint or something. Plus I’ve got the next day off too so am contemplating pitching a tent somewhere and riding more FoD on the Monday…

Why bother? You’ll just have a bunch of luddites wearing sackcloth and ashes complaining about your geared bike ruining their ride. It would be like taking a combine harvester to an Amish farm and not expecting to be shunned for your ungodly ways.

I think you should come anyway TooTall, so i can have an eye to eye conversation with someone a proper height and also have a quick spin on your Turner so i can compare it to my Salsa. 🙂

Besides, the funny noises coming from the BB and rear hub on my SS Inbred make me think if there are going to be any mechanical problems on the day, it won’t be from the geared bikes……
