I'm in the country for that week. Any cycling type events happening in the South?

There's a 1 or 2 hour enduro at Combe Sydenham on the Saturday and a 60k enduro on the Sunday if you can get to Exmoor, check out the shred website for the circus of dirt events

Hareydan, that looks interesting. I did an enduro (motorbike) there a few years ago. Will be pretty brutal from what I can remember!

Hareydan, I was speaking to the organsier this morning on the way to work about the Enduro Laps, they are off for a recce this weekend but hope to create a loop that uses the down hill course for "fun!" I'm assured it's rideable by us XC wimps, with "B" lines and rollable sections.

has all the makings of a great weekend with the standard Circus of Dirt format happening on the Sat (1 or 2 hour "challenge ride" in the morning followed by the XC in the afternoon [both Regional and Inter-Service Championships]) and the Sunday all about the Enduro.

A local campsite (Showers, swimming pool) has been apporached and are considering offering a discount.

More information will be out as things firm up, keep an eye on XCracer or ShredEvents for more details, they are on Facebook but not sure they've made the leap to twitter yet.

Rob
