Got a core of about 200 songs of “classics”. You know, Sweet Caroline, My Girl etc etc.

Any regrets? Suggestions on terrible songs never to play? I don’t think a single **** will be allowed til after the kids are away.

It’s on Saturday. Please distract me.

My Girl and Sweet Caroline would have got our DJ booted out on the spot. And they’re not songs you can dance to unless you’re doing a slow first dance to one of them.

There is one song you need that’s guaranteed to get people moving. Dancing on the Ceiling.

Hand Jive from Grease worked well at a mates so we had it at ours. Dance floor was full all night.

Our DJ asked us what we wanted for the last dance of the evening – we said he could choose, he put on I’ve had the time of my Life and it was a great way to end the evening – everyone got up and the night ended on a real high.
