Anyone know about this? I need to take a wheelchair abroad for a relative that lives there, easyjet take chairs for free, but does that still apply if its not actually for me?

I am trying to avoid a little britain style fakery situation! 🙂

DO IT! That sounds like so much fun. Just don’t ever claim you’re disabled, just say you’ll be in a wheelchair.

If there isn’t a disabled person travelling with you isn’t it just “luggage” like anything else?

have you ever tried? especially at 5p per minute, I have emailed but thought someone might know. all the documents say that passengers can take a wheelchair for free, nowhere does it say you have to be disabled !

I’d just show up with it, they won’t ask who or what it is for and if they do just you have some sort of spinal problem that means you can’t walk very far (but are able to walk to and get on the plane unaided etc). Can’t imagine them asking for a doctors note.
