    Hi all,
I have some dried sealant (apparently!) that has got inside my carbon SC Reserve wheels, it rattles round like plastic inside the rim. When i look at the small bits that come out it is most likely sealant.

The bits are too big to come out of the valve hole or spoke holes – anyone had any experience with this and offer any solutions that wont ruin the rims?!

Try blowing them out with compressed air; would need access to a compressor, obvs. Even if too big after a few revolutions of the inside of the rim they’d likely be reduced in size?

If it’s sealant, it should be soft and flexible enough to come out with a pick, or tweezers.

If it’s hard and brittle, it’s more likely resin that’s broken loose from the inside

Was most likely resin in that case. Eventually removed it all – rattling the wheel about and breaking it up bit by bit! Hopefully no issue with the wheel now
