When I lived in Bavaria, there was a bloke in the town I lived in who owned a Delta Integrale in white with the Martini livery, white wheels, racing seats, the lot. I was mega jealous.

And just cos I’ve got an Ibiza, I’d love to get an Ibiza Cupra TDi (same version as mine) and see how far I could take it in terms of engine mods and suspension for mucking about on track days. There was a bloke on Seatcupra.net who had his up to 330 bhp.

I can’t find the pic of it but there is a pre facelift Corolla TTE Compressor. It’s the only one in the world and although not dream by anyone else’s standard, given my history with T Sports it is to me.

I’ve been getting the serious Group B horn of late.

I keep driving past an RS200 looking very forlorn and being consumed by foliage. It’s probably just a replica, but I still want to go and save it…

I went looking for a used Integrale when they were current. I always loved the look of Lancia Deltas, and although I only had a couple of short test rides, I remember them being fantastic – on a bumpy lane it felt like the wheels extended down and kept in contact with the road.

I also had a ride (passenger) in a Stratos replica – I can’t remember much about that – I think it was fairly fast, noisy, and cramped.

However, my Land Rover Defender seems to be my ‘dream car’. I don’t really want for anything else – it would just be nice if they didn’t corrode.

Audi RS6. Perfect do it all car. Big days out in the lakes, cheeky spin after work or annual trip to the Alps. It does the lot. Faster than a Ferrari but can carry four adults in comfort. Looks superb with my Santa Cruz Bronson on the roof. Real head turner.
