As i’m sat typing with a wooly hat, and a jacket and the fire on i probably need to sort out some draught excluding for my door!!
Tried a curtain = the draught literally blows it away, tried the foam/spongey stuff which sticks around the frame = door that wont shut…
Can’t replace the door as its not my door! Any suggestions???
    Cheers

Put some weight in the bottom of the curtain

You’d think so but its a big uneven shaped doorway, old stone walls

Before we had the front door replaced we had massive gapos between the frame & the brickwork. Might be worth checking that and seeing if extra caulking is required.

Pop down to Bamnd Q and look for Evitex draught excluders, brass or silver finish with a rubber wiper blade that goes tight against the door when closed, works well.

All the foam stuff does id twist the door out of shape ,and stops the locks lining up into the recievers.

Ever thought about putting the heating on.

Fitted draught excluders would be best but a towel at the bottom of our back door (soon to be replaced) does the job of keeping most out.
Also got some of the foam tape around the frame, but I find the damned stuff keep coming off and ends up pressed into the wrong places, crap stuff!

As project says something like this… goes round the door frame, outside the door, normally screws into place and the screw holes are slotted to allow a bit of adjustment = snug fit but door closes.

    fit something over the letterbox…

    and
something like this over the keyhole.. on the inside 😉

then, for maximum effect, put the curtain back up as well….

Mebbe put a layer of thick felt round the edges of the door with double-sided tape? I did that with our (slightly warped 20’s original) front door – made a big difference.
