Does anyone have one of the DeLonghi Magnifica coffee machines?

If so, is it any good? It seems to do everything we want and looks a fairly reasonable price too. However, we have a few questions that the tinterweb hasn’t been able to answer yet.

It takes both beans and ground coffee – does the ground coffee go in a different hole from the whole beans? If the hopper’s full of beans, would you need to get them all out before putting ground coffee in or does it go somewhere else?

Also, can you fit a decent sized mug, say 5 inches tall, under the spout? Will it do two mugs at once and roughly how long would it take to fill one?

We’re looking at the 3200 and the 4200. We’re also thinking of the Siemens TK54001, which seems very similar in function but looks a bit nicer.

    Thanks
    GF.
