where is the descent in your 2nd/ 5th photos? Is that the Widowmaker – have you got a grid ref?

They're both towards the South-West end of Groundhog Day.

Approx Grid Ref. SX559681 should get you here, the end of the trail as we did it yesterday ….

Not done that loop for several years – I remember the start being a bit of a struggle, clearly a reflection on my ability! The weather has conspired against us – having knocked myself out on Dartmoor on a previous icy outing, I'm wimping out this time – will try again next Monday. Thanks for the info – cracking pictures. You clearly had a good day on the trails. 😀
