The bike you ride is important.

    Riding single speed is enjoyable.

Maxxis are the only tyre manufacturer.

Body armour can’t prevent injuries, it’ll only stop bruises and scrapes

This is one of my faves – along with body armour will just shift the force further away and you will break something else instead. TRIPE.

Faffing about melting a tin of black goo, filling your home with the smell of burning oil, and possibly ruining a few carpets is better than spending a few quid a couple of times a year on a bottle of bicycle chain lube.

Maxxis High Rollers are good tyres.

29ers are no good on singletrack.

Horst Leitner invented the Horst link (you know, the one he managed to get a patent for, which Specialized now use to make money to pay for all their lawyers).

Depends, it certainly is a good way to wreck bearings, and could corrode steel frames and other parts in time.

Anyone who thinks that washing your bike with salt is _good_ for it, raise your hands…
