just got a new 09 front Crud – I like it!
It’s longer so covering more down tube, and the rubber nose does allow it to be kept up nearer the head tube.
Still got an old one on the back at present though…… I’ve read on the old forum that they need another shim if you’re using a 27.2mm (?) seatpost cos the shims supplied allow the fixing nut to tighten past it’s thread and then you can’t undo it!
I’m sure Mr Crud told CRC they were rapidly trying to get new shims out with each pack – or use both supplied ones if you’ve got a skinny seatpost.
but anyway – thumbs up from me for the front at least!
