Classifieds Dibs + pics….

Pics are essential purely to assess cosmetic condition. The amount of time “good nick” actually ends up meaning simply “not broken” brothers me. I’m happy to buy something that’s a bit battered yet functional, but I want to assess for myself the general cosmetic condition – hardly too much to ask!

My issue was that there isn’t really anything written down to cover how things work.

As was mentioned before, most places do a “all talk in thread until you need to swap payment details”. That doesn’t happen on here.

If one guy goes “Dibs and pics please”, then the next says “I dont need pics, i’ll just send money”, who is the winner? Does it just come down to who the seller wants to sell it to???

I had someone through a hissy-fit once because he’d offered £10 under the asking price on something I was selling, then got upset when I sold it to someone who offered the full price 10 minutes later (all on the thread). Apparently, I should have gone back to him and offered him the chance to increase his offer! Found that quite amusing. 😆

Why would you ever bother going back to the under offerer? You’ve got your money, you heartless bastard. 😆
