    Haven’t killed me yet.

I did take a look at the caliper flex ‘problem’ identified in the report. yes, you squeeze the lever and the caliper flexes a bit. it’s not any more flex than my XT 2 pots (that I hadn’t noticed flexed until now!)

only real complaint is that it’s quite fiddly to get the bite point/lever just right. I’ve not got round to a proper bleed of them yet, so that may improve, and I may be able to overfill them a little, though I’m cautious about that as the pads do run much closer to the disc than shimano’s.

I have set up Onirri M4’s on my Cotic recently. I used a syringe, plastic tubing and screw-in adapters at each end to bleed the system. M5 thread adapter at brake lever master cylinder and M4 thread adapter on caliper body. The ‘universal’ bleed kit from UK company Total bleed solutions didn’t have an M4 thread adapter but I fashioned my own by tapping a thread from a larger adapter in the kit. I subsequently bought a proper universal adapter kit off Ali Express for £5 and that does have both M4 and M5 bleed port adapters.

I can confirm the M4’s accept Hope E4 brake pads. I got the Uberbike E4 pads as they are good quality and a lot cheaper in the long run as you can buy pads separately to the finned backing plate. The fins don’t fit in as closely to the caliper body as the originals but in the short test ride I took to bed them in they felt really powerful. Looking forward to testing in anger next weekend.
