short & fun. a lap is about 7 miles.

some steep climbing that’ll be hard work on a singlespeed.

I’ll second that. I’ll even admit to walking up hell’s teeth on the 2nd and 3rd loop

but you don’t have to do the Hells teeth climb -some say the reward isn’t worth it anyway

The climb is its own reward, doable on SS (just! Last few metres are proper hard on one)

do a few laps and you’ll be giggling 🙂

Bloody mindedness, and tacking for the really steep bits to lessen the gradient, treat it as a challenge, even if you don’t make it gives you a spot to try and get past next time!

I loved it for a quick blast on holiday.

I enjoyed it, my dad lives in Bodmin so took the bikes down when I went to see him last. Again needed two laps to make it worth my while but you drop into the and climb out of the valley a lot. Strava shows 475 meters of climbing over 2 laps.
