Cane Creek Double Barrel – Bush and mounting hardware question…please help!

My shock currently has 22mm mounting kit either end using the spherical bearing ‘bush’ set up.
My new frame downtube mount is 25.4mm wide so I need to change one end of the shock mounting kit.

My digital vernier calipers (and physical test) show that an ordinary Fox bush doesn’t fit, so I can’t fit a standard heavy duty mount kit. It would appear…

Am I wrong? Is there an easy, off the shelf, solution? My LBS’s are not exactly supporting my quest very well!

I don’t really want to get some new ends caps machined because over a certain shock mount width the advice is go DU bush and pin.
