Hello campers….
I use a 4.5kg Calor gas bottle for camping. Usually just use it to connect to a bbq/cooker. We are now after a new electric/gas cool box and wondered if you can split the gas hose from the bottle and run both the cooker and fridge simultaneously.
I noticed you can get Y shaped splitters and quick release connectors to connect it to the appliances like the ones below. But how will it affect the performance of the cooker and fridge? Can I use my existing regulator?
Also, can you get a shut off cap, to close off one of the outputs if it’s not connected to anything, without having to carry around a separate hose and regulator.
Edit – in a tent rather than a van, so the more lightweight the solution the better.
