So if R0 = 4, 1 becomes 4 becomes 16 becomes 64………

Its been downgraded to around an R0 of 2.8. Still serious though, gladly no where near measles levels which is around an R0 of 12-18!

Yeah but think what would happen here with that rate given the vast surplus of hospital beds that we don’t have 🙂

Only a paranoid would think that a government or civilised nation would deliberately be slow to react to a disease that has the capacity to easily infect and kill the weakest and least productive members of its society, or bring chaos and suspicion to other, competing nations around it.

Wasn’t that the idea with Universal Credit, designed with a 2 month wait to try and starve as many people to death as possible.

That’s true. Trouble is we seem to have such a govt judging by its lack of concern regarding the numbers of people dying under the current regime of welfare.
