As the title really, I’d like to explore Bredon Hill near Pershore, the Shire. Where could I park up to access it best ?
    Thanks.

You can park very close to the top of Hill Lane in Elmley Castle. There’s a bridleway at the top of the lane that takes you up onto the hill.

There really isn’t much to explore though; I’ve ridden up there a few times when there’s absolutely no possibility of going anywhere interesting, I certainly wouldn’t travel any great distance to ride there. (Waits patiently to be contradicted)

There’s better riding on Cleeve Hill and Leckhampton Hill.

Just a thought about trying somewhere different tbh. I lived in Malvern for my first 30 years, I have been living in the VoD (Vorest of Dean) for 22 years, I just want to try Bredon.

Nice views better for a walk as said above ok if you include it in a gravel ride say but hardly worth driving there and parking to go for a ride better going to Lecky hill then on to Cranham woods via Birdlip and onto Painswick beacon I live in Cheltenham only ridden up there twice been MTBing biking for 30 years hay ho everybody to there own.

As said, a bridleway/gravel tootle (with nice views). It’s ancestral home turf for me but tend to just walk the dog there if anything. More of a ‘sit and ponder across The Vale’ kind of place but ok for a quick loop on the gravel beast. Slightly more interesting if take bridleway from Overbury up through the springs to then circle back around Hill Barn to Kemerton

+1 Lecky, first place I ever rode an MTB 👍🏼

It’s very much an up-and-down hill. Climb, decend, climb……etc. Until exhaustion or terminal boredom set in. Good view from the top though.

It’s got cracking views from up there. Sure it’s not gnartech to the max, but it’s a lovely area to ride up.

Follow the route by mtb Foodie would be a good bet.
