Similar price to Shimano 520 but a bit lighter. Reviews on halfords look ok.

    Any thoughts?

I’ve got them, xts and deores they rank bottom, engagement is great, they disengage far to easy and at too small an angle, ideal for the gravel bike which is where I put them in the end, no good for mtb in my opinion unless it’s xc riding.

I forgot my pedals on one weekend away and bought some of the cheap ones for £5 from a local Halfords!

Not half bad really, but the rubber on my shoe interfered slightly, where it didn’t on Shimano. I keep them in the car just in case.
