Squeezed in a beautiful two days riding the length of Glen Affric. Been on my list for a long time. Did not disappoint.

That evening going home reached Perth and it was raining low mist dank. A different world!

Mates live up above the Cannich in the woods, they have a yurt up there too which would make an ideal base for exploring

Beautiful glen. We did a there & back to Camban bothy a while back.
Spectacular with the added bonus of a Golden Eagle flying low across the glen.

I have unfinished business with it. Had a rand rock pop up on a trip last year that pinged off the mech, breaking it off and flinging it into the spokes, braking four of them and buckling the wheel enough that it’d only turn with the tyre deflated. Was a long walk back to the car…. Still, at least it wasn’t raining!

@postierich yes the HT550. We sun hunted Scotland for a place to ride. We were very fortunate. The 3 from the USA we talked were grateful for the weather break too. They looked like they needed a bath. Hats off to them.
