That's why I have a custom built 29er singlespeed that you can run huge tryes on even in the mud. 😀

From what owners of them have told me they're not that harsh on the rear.

yes you have to keep your arse on the saddle or you might get a nice/nasty surprise ( depending on which direction you like to garden )
