Looking through the best-looking enduro bikes thread and seeing this pic from PrinceJohn got me thinking what’s the best picture of a bike out there? Not a good photo of someone riding a bike, or a product shot of a nice bike against a plain white background, but the best one you’ve got of a wild bike in its natural habitat.

Can we make this amateur photos only?
Some of the pro shots are so photo-shopped that it would be pointless.

I don’t know why in particular but this is easily the most popular photo on my flickr site

For some reason, the OP’s pic looks like a tiny toy bike on a model railway track to me.

My old Zesty limbering up for a 30-minute pedal down to Annat.

This isn’t particularly special as a photo, and certainly shouldn’t be in the running for any kind of best photo. But it always catches my eye more than it should. There’s something about it that’s inviting.

“come hither and thrash me down this trail…”

The bike laying on it’s side and nedrapiers shot work for me. Agree the first pic looks like a toy bike on a model railway (it is a well composed shot though).

It’s a BFe, but not that you’d know.

There are some great photos but I think some have missed the OP’s point slightly!

I’ve just gone through my Pinkbike album and picked the top viewed ones.
None are great (too saturated, under exposed, etc.) but I like them.

Not natural habitat as such, but a couple of pics of our bikes at Ciclo Montana…
