    Red. Surely the fastest colour?
Pictonroad, that’s my old Bonty. I bought it from Gil M. That’s the bike I regret selling….

My gut reaction was red. Specialized Stumpjumpers or S-Works in red, always good. I’m going for turq. Apart from I kept busting them, I loved my Yetis, so my view is possibly swayed. The photo below is my 575 over 5yrs old so the paint was certainly durable too.

spesh had a pastel blue stumpy hardtail a few years back, with an orange fork and orange detailing. Beautiful, I just didn’t want a stumpy hardtail at the time……

Anything in orange always looks good to me.

I always loved the paint on the Karate Monkey Ops

And the purple stooge or Genesis Vagabond

And I really liked the Cotic Matt Duck Egg

The transparent red on my original dmr trailstar was the nicest single colour I’ve had. Kona cinder cone from ’95 in a Celeste type colour, with bronze bits is a close second….

If multi-coloured ones are allowed it would be any of the Schwinn homegrown factory frames in black, silver & gold glitter!

I change my mind all the time, but currently having trouble seeing past this

I have a horrible feeling I might end up owning one in the near future… :?

I like the classic specialized red:

I always wanted one of them 90s candy red Zaskars with yellow Judys

Best I managed was a rigid outpost in the same colour, then a very fetching blue and yellow Tequesta the year after. Never had a pair of Judys though

Edit – that red BFe though, phwoar. Not seen one of them before, like that a lot.

Always been a fan of the candy apple reds. But equally I thin splatter needs to make a comeback.

Must admit to being a sucker for deep bronzes, oranges, fruity autumn colours with depth and sparkle

Last years Raleigh Mustang Comp was an eyecatcher, reminds me of my old Diamondback V-Link in similar orange.

    Loving the apple reds too.

    Not much love for dark-blue-with-white-bits.

(this is not a claim that my idrive was pretty, but I think it was a good #colorway. Also, mismatched brakes and chainless are definitely going to catch on)

Ha ! I’ve got one, after 20 years still going strong. Don’t have a pic though (and the forks are carbon Pace EVO).

    This is gert lush:

I tried to get somewhere close when I got the dekerf resprayed. Dave Yates’ “Flam. emerald”, I think. yellow topcoat comes out lovely in the sunshine.

That Cotic red looks great 8)

For me it was the pastel green used by WTB in the late 90s early 00s

Always loved it. Just had a test frame done in the same green and its lovely with silver components.

May do my Rooster that green too

Dave Yates’ “Flam. emerald”, I think.

I remember years ago seeing a Yates in what must have been a mix of flam red and green, sort of like the chameleon paint on TVR’s – utterly gorgeous.

Another vote for Orange neon orange. It’s the main reason my old Five still hangs in the shed. I rarely rude it, but live the colour too much to sell it.

Would be funny except it is green!

I mean chameleon as in the colour does change effect in different lighting.

Brighter the better for me, but, I’m not into colour matching components.

I find Black bikes so boring
