So the old and trusty Remington has had it. I need a new one. Doesn’t have to curl or plait my ‘tache or automatically inject wax into my beard. Just need a beard trimmer with adjustable depth and a moustache trimmer.

    What to get?

I’ve a Babyliss beard mains powered trimmer from Argos which deals nicely with my industrial duty wire face fuzz. Comes with a selection of guards including my favoured grade 4 for my weekly trimmage.Cost circa a tenner from Argos.

Bought a replacement Remington – next one up in the range. Same functionality, slightly nicer build and quieter. Hoping for longer than five year battery life.

I think mine did better than 5 years but yes it’s the battery that’s gone.
