That said, how many gas hobs have a flame directly under the food without a pan in between…..?!

I too am a gas BBQ’ist, was merely taking the p1ss in STW style.

But expect a right flaming once others find out.

Ah good ok! I do charcoal where possible, but I don’t find it reliable enough to cook for 30-40 people.
