I don't care what a supercar is, or whether an F40 is 'better' than a Countach, but there have been some pretty rad and bonkers cars over the years so lets see of the ones that might have been forgotten. I'll start with the Lancia Stratos, probably one of the few cars that the designers must have put a lot of thought on how it looked from above, for people in helicopters.....or birds?

Lotus Carlton
Tickford Capri
Lotus Sunbeam/Cortina
Loving that CX sixer, being of a big family we had a few big cars as a kid, Cresta, Cambridge, Zodiac, Victor, Saab 95, Pug 504 Family and the fantastic CX Familiale.
There were quite a few non supercars with great styling by Bertone, Zagato, Giugiaro and the like through the sixties and seventies, but not many left as they were cheap at the time and not thought of as worth saving.
I remember looking for a Fiat X1/9
Getting one within my budget that was not FULL of rust proved impossible.
Not to everyone's taste but I'd love a series 1 RS turbo.
That little Alfa Junior looks like a right hoot. I loved the Fiat X19 and TR7 when I was a kid. On a similar note, the Porsche 916 (never heard of them when I was younger but I think they look pretty rad too):
And yeah, the Tickford Capri as mentioned above. Almost posted a pic of one on the supercar thread but feared I might get shot Awesome looking though
That Lancia Stratos does, indeed, look incredible from above!!

In South Africa they sold the Capri with the 302ci 5.0l Mustang V8.
Broom!
Buick Grand National GNX. Kinda the American equivalent of a Sierra Cosworth, ugly and crude, but seriously quick in a straight line.

Had one of these, quite heavily tuned. Great car once you'd of rid of the BL crapness:
Anyone who doesn't like these doesn't like cars, even a slow one is a hoot to thrash:
Just gorgeous:
Not many of these left:
My dad had one of these:

Brilliant call on the 2000GT!
Where to start, where to finish?!
Am I allowed a Singer? Ah, go on, they're based on pre 90's cars...
I can't handle much more excitement right now, I'll be back later.
Can someone please put a picture up of a Mercedes C111.
