Anyone using Ritchey Corralitos?

I’d like something a little shorter in reach and to raise the bar (!) a little. I also mainly ride on the corner of the tops and the short reach might make the levers more accessible from that position.

Currently using Sonder Bombers which are okay, but not perfect for me.

Yes. Have them on my Audax/rough stuff bike mainly because the sweep and drops was a close mimic to the Whisky Winston’s on my singlespeed and that seems to work ok with my knackered back/shoulder/neck. I tried to go narrowish so think mine are 44cm to hoods. Genuinely comfy to ride in the drops, which I what I wanted. I just wish the width didn’t make me sail-like. I think that the riser-bar style looks shite tbh but these are only a small rise and do help.

The short reach is nice. Not daft short like the Deda that I had. Liveable with.

I switched from Bombers to Corralitos. I went from hand pain on every ride to comfort over multi day bikepacking trips. The hoods are at a less extreme angle and the drops are now in the “right” place

So it’s a yes from me.

Yep, my favourite gravel/monstercross bar so far (admittedly only tried Genetic Digest and Curve Walmers before these). The rise is kooky looking but they’re dead comfy.

Yep, here too. Again, the most comfy bar i’ve used, and good in the drops. Bit odd looking but the rise isn’t so bad. It’s as close to a flat bar as a drop bar can get pretty much, which is why I like it. Never been much stock of these, but i’d highly recommend.

I’ve often thought about trying a set to raise the front end of my Casade – even shorter reach and smaller drop than the Ritchey Beacon XLs I currently use.

However, instead I recently fitted a Specialized multi-adjust stem that allows different angles via wedges between steerer tube and stem. That combined with a tweak to bar roll has further increase comfort for me, so might be an alternative option to reducing drop (not so much affecting reach though).

Did consider them for ordered Cotic Cascade – currently use Ritchey Beacon’s in 46cm on my gravel/road bike and TBH pretty much settled on Beacon XL’s for the new bike as I don’t need extra ‘stack’.

Thanks for the advice – have ordered a pair. TBH at the price it’s not a major punt. My preferred bar tape (Ergon BT Gravel) is only a tenner less than the bars which seems crazy!

Green was the only colour in stock when I needed it, but it’s grown on me.

Yep, bombers are horrendously shaped bars. Corralitos are night and day more comfortable and controllable and allow proper brifter placement for top and drop use

Those photos show how short the reach is! The hood covers are almost at the bend. Might have to put a softer elastomer in the stem…

I’ve just ordered a set too, so this is all promising feedback!

I fitted some Salsa Cowchippers because I’m a tart and like the polished finish to match my stem & other components but I can’t get comfy on them 🙁

Maybe I’ll blast the anodising off the Ritcheys if I get on well with them! I like the Venturemax I had before so fingers crossed…

A huge vote from me. My first dropbar bike was a Nukeproof Digger 2 years. The bike is very long, low, slack for a gravel bike. I really struggled gelling with the dropbar concept for months, through different bars and stems as I wanted the bars higher and further back. The Corralitos bars changed everything for me (along with a stubby riser stem) opening up the world of distance riding, bikepacking etc.
