    A mucho-bargainous alternative to the ubiquitous Conti GP4000/5000, or a buy-cheap-buy-twice mistake?

i recently bought a planet x spitfire that came with them.

i have to say that i haven’t had any issues with them at all so far.

am not a racer i must add. have done about 300 miles on them at a guess and that included an 80 mile devizes to bristol return trip via kennet and avon canal. i was absolutely battered by the end of it,but no punctures at all.

would def buy another set of them 👍

I had a mate who bought some of the wider Jack Brown ones and sent them back as he said they felt horrible and plasticky.

I thought they’d be decent though, as I heard they were made by Panaracer.

I quite like these to be honest, not as bad as I thought they’d be:

I’ve got a pair of the blue ones at 30mm I think. They are excellent tyres, not heavy and have resisted Wiltshire flint all winter long. Definitely buying again.
