It’s a declassified blue-sky futurologist “what if” hand-wavey research paper, interesting sci-fi stuff but pretty far form a blueprint for controlling the weather.

But i want a mad man who can cause earthquakes from his underground volcano lair

yes well you are unlikely to find a blueprint for anything like that on ‘tinternet. 😀

Might find them on the secure military servers.
Or in the design schemes for at least one of the major manufacturers.
Or while wandering round aeroplane factories.

Nope, nope, nope. As i believe the saying goes.

probably a perfectly innocent research facility.

    How does weather create earthquakes??

not weather but other hand-vavey sci-fi stuff.. there does seem to be some relationships that are not fully understood?

Not fully understood by conspiracy theorists would be my guess.

Its not even a research facility, its a floating radar station for the US west coast to be used to monitor traffic in a region they done have ground stations.

S’just more filthy exhaust fumes innit?
clearly remember the days that all flights were grounded due to that Icelandic volcano..

    Beautiful blue skies man..Beautiful
I haven’t seen that colour blue since I was a nipper.. I could have wept as the planes went up again and we watched those beautiful skies disappear behind a milky haze

ZOMG!! Do you think the Cumbrian floods were caused by a knock on effect because they’re using this weapon system to create a drought in Syria to destabilise the region?!?!?one?

Or more likely an SBX-1 missile-defence radar station:

Funnily enough, right next to one of our local trail spots is a radar facility which some people have likened to HAARP[/url]

Could this have anything to do with the 2006 Bow Street Tornado, just a couple of miles away?

(Or the storm which felled vast swathes of trees and trashed 2 of our local riding spots in Jan 2014?)

I doubt it, but it makes for funny banter.

    😆 jive does it best!

Anyway pretty sure nobody here really knows anything about any of this first hand, funny comments are funny, believe what you like!

interesting reply from USAF @ 3:00

There does seem to be a growing trend that any phenomenon that can’t be easily explained to five year old in less than a minute must be some kind of global NWO conspiracy.

See chemtrails, flat earth, perpetual motion, satellites, terrorists, magnets, hadron collider, basic physics, etc etc

    One step closer to Idiocracy.

but why do these conspiracy theorists do this? they only open themselves up to ridicule…

many seem to be perfectly rational educated people as well.

I’m not a conspiracy nut but… is it not the case that official statements, scientific reports and media coverage in the past have actually turned out to be complete lies and ass covering or just turned out to be plain incorrect etc?

    Examples?

And of those examples, how many of those were exposed by randoms shouting at YouTube videos in their mum’s basement?

Is it not some sort of #enduro slang? Oh man, I totally railed that chemt.

I’ve said before about conspiracy theories; the thing I like most is their ability to contradict themselves yet coexist. So you can find people who think that HAARP is simultaneously 2 or 3 different, sekrit things- and it doesn’t matter to them, because what’s important is that you contradict the official story. So you can totally believe that it’s a mind control weapon, AND that it shot down a TWA plane, AND that it causes gulf war syndrome, simultaneously. In fact, it’s even better because it contradicts the official version 3 times.

Luckily I am married and therefore I get told what to believe without worrying about all this conspiracy guff.

Yes, but that doesn’t make the conspiracy nutters any more correct. If I can’t find my phone, then accuse my wife of moving it & it subsequently transpires she didn’t: It doesn’t mean that the Government did it.

Just get Footflaps to build a new shed, put Binners inside and supply Curry with Garlic Naarn.

Plus there is a bit of a difference between a small government department creatively massaging some figures to make them look good and an international conspiracy to project an artificial sky, convincing sheeple that the world is round and that outer space exists.

It’s a side effect of living in an increasingly irreligious environment. Now that you can’t blame the devil, you go for the next most evil option and not the next most rational or evidenced option,

A friend of mine used to work at the met office and 3 years ago moved to San Francisco working for NASA on atmosphere projects (I’m not clever enough to understand the whole thing).
She says anyone who believes chemtrails is a complete imbecile.
Of course she works for the man so must be lying!

Similarly I have a friend who works at the Met office with a very similar opinion. (They must all be indoctrinated!) Apparently one guy occasionally protests about their role in the chemtrail conspiracy outside of their Exeter HQ. Just the one guy, though.

TO be fair we do know our govt has done conspiracies against us and has lied and misled us. The problem is they see it at every big event from JFK through to moon landings to 9/11. One rarely meets a conspiracist who only believes in one conspiracy and thinks the rest are BS though the evidence does support the view they often mislead.

some of the attempts to sound clever and funny replies on here are less convincing than the majority of conspiracy theorist’s drivel! kinda amusing nevertheless.

must be a bad day for the STW massive. might not be a worthy topic but still…

Can anyone explain why “The Man” wants us to believe to world is round? I can’t actually think of a reason why it would actually matter either way but the Flat Earthers are convinced The Man is **** with us, the never tell me why though.

The point is to know something other people don’t. (*) Ridicule is just other people showing their ignorance. There’d be no point if you never got a reaction.

(* and it’s too hard to do this with actual facts, if you want to know things other people don’t it’s easiest just to make shit up)

I really don’t think you need to. They are all pretty well known and documented:

    Gulf Of Tonkin incident (1964)
    Watergate scandal (early 1970s)
The Iran Contra affair (late 1980s)
    Monica Lewinsky scandal (1998)
Guantánamo Bay (ongoing and a pretty dubious inclusion!)

What each of these clearly demonstrate is that nothing much stays secret for long and the more people you have involved the more likely it is to quickly become public knowledge (just ask Edward Snowden).

Yet people think “The Man” can cover-up daily spraying of populations with “chemicals” and the massive task involved in maintaining the illusion that the earth is round and that space exists. Despite the fact both of these would require tens of thousands, if not millions, of people to be complicit.

I’ve seen these things spread across the sky turning what was a blue sky day into a cloudy ether when they all merge together……whatever it is, it looks a bloody mess!!

Who knows what really goes on in this world…..didnt something come out at that recent climate change conference where someone said something that eluded to the fact that they could spray metal particles into the atmosphere to counter global warming….it was early in the morning on Radio 4, i was still half asleep!
