Kinda. I rolled out of central London at 05:30, trying to out 140-odd miles under my wheels and have a swim at Studland Bay in Dorset. I'd not really looked at the weather forecast and just assumed it'd be like last weekend and the main problem would be sunburn.
Anyway, it started raining at about 10:30ish as I made my way from Haslemere to Harting, really got going when I hit the South Downs Way and was simply vile by the time I got to the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
Had a long halt and a feed there and then basically decided there wasn't much point riding to the beach in the pouring rain as I'd already probably done 80 miles and had been up quite a while, so I went over Butser Hill to Petersfield for the train. Visibility on top of Butser was down to about 25 metres. Horrible.
I now feel fairly epic, although I'm not sure it was "fun" particularly.
