The Accu-Gage is the most important tool in my drawers, so to speak. And it’s certainly the most pleasing to use too.

They should have spent some money on a good name.  ‘accu-gage’ just makes me twitch

Also ascu-gage isn’t too bad, sort of implies you can fit it at funny angles which is nice 😉

    Terrible reviews on Amazon.

I have one, it’s good at gauging and feels well made but the blow-off valve is so slow as to be useless and that’s half of the only 2 jobs that tyre gauges have to do.

Schrader users be like, “I can get 27.5 of those for the same price at Halfords.”

They’re lovely but mine is borderline useless unfortunately.

Will not seal to the valve so leaks like a sieve when used and the gauge is seemingly waay off – like recoding 1/2 the tyre pressure. The old digi gauge it was supposed to replace has been pressed into action.

Very disappointing, doubly so given it was a present I’d asked for.

And no I haven’t complained to them though I suppose I should. I’ll do it now – thanks for the reminder. I’ll let you all know what they say.

    I like mine in principle…

But the fact that there is a sticker inside the lid of the box warning about how the gauge won’t work properly if it gets any tyre sealant in it put me of a touch.

Occasionally sealant gets into valves and then into the track pump so would probably end up in the gauge too.

I have the 15 psi one for the fat bike. Works well.

I have had mine for five years and works well, I am using the 0- 30 PSI version. No problems so far

I use a 15psi and 30psi one for fatbikes and normal bikes. They’re good, easy to use, they agree with each other (comforting to know), but as BearBack says, don’t drop them.

Thanks for the positive and constructive comments 👍
If you bought your gauge from http://www.accu-gagecycling.com, http://www.cyclocrossracer.co.uk or the ACCU-GAGE CYCLING eBay shop and you need some support with it, get in touch with us using hello@accu-gagecycling.com
With respect to sealant, it really is just a case of clearing the valve of sealant or putting a bit of extra air in before taking the reading, we have gauges that are regularly used this way and are fine after many years use.
We can replace the chuck for a small charge if you do accidentally fill it with sealant.
We also have spare seals if you are not able to get a good seal around the valve, but we have found some valves which do not have thread all the way to the end are a bit too small in diameter, so it could be thinner valves causing sealing problems?

I had been planning on buying one of these, but was put off a bit by some of the feedback. Having just read bworks 10’s post I have ordered 2 of them, a road and an MTB 😁
