The A-team remake wasn’t too bad but I didn’t get more than 20 minutes into the new Knight rider, maybe that’s more to do with the fact that I’m not 11 anymore so who knows.
    Surely it’s about time for:

Yes there have been fast car movies recently, but not like this

I sae the Total Recall remake and loved it. The odd reference to the original and of course Kate Beckinsale at her hottest.

New Total Recal has Kate Beckinwhatnow?

Why wasn’t I informed of this already? Words will be had…

Liking the fact the new Ghostbusters is another SNL lineup, if they have the same chemistry as the original cast and don’t try too hard to be carbon copies I reckon it’ll work.

F4 reboot is still further apart than The Hulk and Incredible Hulk IIRC

Also original Adama wouldn’t have pulled off a New Caprica, he was too busy talking new age balls…

There already is a ‘new’ Airwolf, not bad too for a DIY effort:

    part 2

    You’ve never watched Underworld, then?

I’m surprised they never made a follow up to Dr No.

Yes. But then I made the mistake of watching Underworld 2,3 and 4 or 5. Anyway, I prefer the jeans and sweatshirt look of the older Kate.

I preferred Jessica Biel. Shocking film, despite the hotties.

Neither brought anything new to the story that the originals lacked

What? New Robocop was a completely different film!

Jesus wept. Not that I will ever agree with you on any level, but I must ask what makes you say that?

… but only in the New Testament reboot.

    Please justify that statement.

Also apparently there’s a reboot of Escape From New York on the way

    Beaten to it.

Actually that doesn’t look too bad.

In true John Carpenter style that was done with Escape from LA.

    Not complaining.

New Mad Max looks promising. Highlander is supposed to be on the cards too.

Please explain? Both of these remakes were boring & overly glossy compared to Paul Verhoeven’s originals in my opinion…

Hah- watched the whole thing, I had no idea.

I just thought the remakes were much better. The original Robocop was like a bad comedy. I really didn’t want to watch the remake but the wife put it on Lovefilm. I watched and really enjoyed it. We watched the original a few weeks ago. The wife had never seen it before and was that impressed she fell asleep.

AS one of my favourite films of all time, I have mixed feelings about that.

Bugger, so it is! Didn’t regognise her with lighter, shorter hair, and she looks a bit thinner in the face.
Grace looks a bit… understated next to the other two, especially Ms Helfer.
    But then, who wouldn’t? 😉

There’s going to be a remake of Scarface.

    Not good.

    Noooo.

As an aside, with a 3yr old Fireman Sam has rceently become a favourite of his. The new ones are just utter garbage compared to the old ones. Handily found the first series of the old ones on Amazon Prime so I can relive being a kid and not have to put up with CGI shite.

There’s going to be a remake of Scarface.

I’ve been mourning all day since I heard.

I can understand some remakes but not that. It was set, created and filmed in the very era when Cocaine wars were at it’s worst.
