    on a new bike, lots of good bikes for that price, what would you go for??

    I wish! depends doesn’t it? I’d have a nice light medium travel full-suss myself, Giant Anthem or something, but that’s me. And I’d buy 2nd hand.

    Very vague there mate, I would probably buy something from last year – there’s even some 09 stuff kicking about at decent prices but without specifics – road/xc/dh/am/unicycle its tricky to list deals that I know of.
