Nearly gave up. I use hard mode so you can't sacrifice a turn to learn letters. I eventually tried it as a sacrifice turn, didn't think it would count as a word.

Only in the same way that laser and scuba are acronyms. All have long since passed into common usage as a word.
Funnily enough I've never even looked at Wordle but this afternoon my sister in law and her daughter were really struggling with this one, when I said it sounds like the acronym that was the answer!
