I quite like these two recent images.

Rutter Falls, Cumbria. I think it captures just how blummin' cold it was. (the coldest I've been on a bike in many years).

I drove from Horhsam in West Sussex to Poynton in Cheshire last night. I got onto the M40 around 9pm and from that point to when I arrived, I never turned my fog lights off. 180 miles in reasonable dense and almost unbroken fog!

Trip up Ben Vorlich the other weekend, pretty windy and freezing but worth it once the skies cleared

Otter and Heron buddies down on the River Don, Aberdeen. You'd think the heron would be scared of the otter, but have seen it fly over to the otter. Perhaps it thinks it'll scrounge left overs of otter catches, but have seen the otter nick a massive trout off of it that it was struggling to swallow

treated myself to an upgrade from a Fuji X-E1 to a secondhand X-T1...still using lots of old manual lenses with adapters, it's one of the great things about mirrorless is that you try all sorts of lenses and use their strengths (and weaknesses) to affect the image that you capture..

My amateur opinion is that it needs two main things:

1. Cropping: for me, it leads the eye down to the bottom right, which is the least interesting part. I'd crop it to remove the buildings in this corner.

2. Colour: personally, I'm not a fan of the tint as it plays down the finishes of the buildings too much. I'd either go colour or b&w to emphasize the reflections.
