Jeesus Christ, sweet child of mine. Thats almost as big a rip off as the chumps who use Orange Bikes respray service ๐Ÿ˜† (i.e. proper motorbike sprayshops will undercut and thats what Orange probably use anyway. AGNI's lazy-types with too much money ๐Ÿ˜†

..Plus 'dents sorted'. Don't you mean poly-filled, finger-sanded then powdercoated? ๐Ÿ™„

First saw the thread a week ago and am now very confused.

So, is sfb getting some money knocked off that Giant or not?

Is it all just elaborate haggling?

Nooooo has he really been banned? Shame such outright Munchausen behaviour should go away.......

Kaesae, if you're still here who does your welding and dent removal? My brother works for a fabrication company and such talent is rare.

Lemme guess, they fall of the back of lorries and that's why they need respraying and checking? Unless you'd like to enlighten us...

Well he's got previous for handling stolen goods I believe, so that would certainly suggest otherwise ...

Why ban the most interesting member for ages? It's as if you don't want this forum to stir up contoversy at all and just want to sell magazines.

"Why ban the most interesting member for ages?"
If you replace the word 'interesting' with the word 'unstable', you'll be in the right ballpark. A dodgey, and to be frank, scary, bloke.

A... scary, bloke.

Just cos you thought he was gonna come over and eat your brains!

He still might, you know....

Noooo!!! He's not been banned? What was it that did it? He was calming down too, but I did prefer the angry one.
So he has access to some decent frames, though he doesn't seem to prep them much cosmetically before selling them. Am I right in assuming they are generally all full sus frames? And he has access to a load of bearings. Does he work for a bike shop or have access to their suppliers for this sort of thing?
Those in the know, prey tell where the frames come from!?

A tear in the time/space continuum, that must be where they come from and he's from the planet Zog - come to the aid of unfortunate poor Earth dwelling mtb'ers.

Of course, only the best from him!

It is one of the lay-back ones though...

...and I hear he has a tendency to put them in upside down...

Yes, and he'll have tuned it as well!
Just remember, at the end of the day, all he wants to do is get bikers back to biking. Stalking, then dry bumming people, and wearing their torso's as a body warmer is just a bonus!

I started reading this thread when it started, then lost track of it. Just read it through from the beginning, (apart from the really long rants from kin thingy: just scanned those). Astonishing, one of the most bizarre things I've ever read on here in six years of membership. Barnsleymitch, I heard there was a fan of yours sharpening up the edges of a couple of spoons: bit like the banquet scene in the second Raiders film with the monkey brains... ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

its all old school cool, rear end replaced FOC by Turner within the week.

I was more aiming at the OP being able to fix and respray my 'rig' to 'better than new' !!

We need a replacement, pronto.... I'll try:

"Barnsleymitch - you're a kipper with a hat made of frogs, and you face is like a cougar's behind after a particularly nasty session with an abusive gorilla......"
"SFB - I bet you've spent more on your house than your bike? Pah - and I bet you call yourself a biker rather than a 'houser'"
"I'm off to eat spoons and throw eggs at my roof..."

Your turn...

My only regret is that in banning him, we may have lost our only chance to save the NHS. Then again, if it stops him from wanting to wear my flayed skin as some sort of jaunty frock, then fair play.

He did nothing to deserve a ban in my eyes but (if he has been banned)
it was probably the right thing to do.

The man is not that well physically or mentally in my opinion and is
complete cannon fodder on this forum.

If your reading this Kaesae - in future please don't feed the animals as they bite.
