Charge Plug 1 Singlespeed, equivalent to a 56cm or medium/large in other brands.

Go ultimate winter beast-mode with this fully equipped singlespeed all rounder.

Very versatile, space for 40mm tyres without guards, 35mm studded winter Schwalbes with guards. I’ve raced CX, done road centuries and ridden through the Beast of the East on this beauty.

Originally purchased 10yrs ago but everything except frame and wheels has been replaced in that time. Oldest components have done 5100km according to Strava.

Buying and wearing our sustainable merch is another great way to support Singletrack

Original wheels which I always planned to upgrade but they’ve just kept on rolling (two spokes replaced relatively early doors and no hint of trouble since. Axles feel pretty rough spinning with fingers though).

White Industries 16t freewheel, Connex chain, MSK chain tugs.

Shimano Alivio chainset, multiple chainrings (36t Raceface narrow/wide, 38t Raceface narrow/wide, 39t Renthal).

PDW Full Metal Fender guards, solid, rattle free. Colour co-ordinated mudflaps.

Kinesis Jo Burt bar-tape, Specialized Hover bars (front was a wee bit too low for me) TRP levers.

Fabric Scoop saddle, Saltire edition with Ti rails, Ritchey Carbon post, Salsa lip lock clamp.

Box One front brake, Tektro RX6 rear. Kool Stop salmon pads on rear, stock pads on front. I can honestly say in 10 years of winter riding I never once missed disc brakes, especially not the squealing on cold wet winter rides!

Schwalbe Winter Marathon 700×35 ice tyres, these have seen me up and over frozen gravel passes, and even across frozen sheet ice bogs, amazing fun. I would happily keep these and could reduce the price, the bike also comes with Kenda Kwik tan walls (700×40, good summer gravel tyres) and Vittoria reflective sidewall 700×32 commuter tyres.

Cosmetically the frame looks amazing but up close you can see a bit of bubbling under the paint near the rear dropouts. Also I had to do some fairly agricultural filing of the track ends to slide the rear wheel further forward for CX duties, it’s not pretty but you don’t notice it with the chain tensioners on.

I’ve probably left something out so ask away.
