Say it ain’t so but… we’re approaching the end of this year’s epic Megasackings. With only three more days to go, what does today have up for grabs?
Wednesday 20th December: SQlab 6OX ERGOWAVE active 2.1 ltd. Team saddle, 50X pedals & Grip 711 Tech & Trail 2.0 S grips
- Value: £249.97 (we *think*, depends on the exchange rate!)
- From: SQlab
As we all know, Asclepius in ancient Greek mythology was the healing god of medical arts. Yer typical image of Asclepius is a bearded man leaning on a snake-entwined staff. This snake eventually became a general symbol of medicine and to this day can be seen used in this context in many medical and pharmaceutical facilities.
Er. What has that got to do with SQlab? Well, first of all it explains the logo. More fundamentally though, SQlab and their medical specialists, place a strong emphasis on the need for ergonomics and health aspects in cycling. (And the name ‘SQlab’ is supposed to echo ‘Asclepius’, but we expect some of this is rather lost-in-translation!)
SQlab: “We have hence adapted our name to the god of medicine in modified form and symbolically use a snake-entwined saddle to complete the logo. This is how our so-called SQ-laboratory, in which research and development of the highest level, has taken place for years with great success.”
What can you win today then?
