Singletrack MegaSack Countdown Day 13 – Altura Waterproof Gear

by 8

Today we have that essential item: the waterproof jacket. This one is from Altura’s new Adventure range – their return to the mountain bike specific clothing market. Designed and tested in the UK, to laugh in the face of UK weather.

Altura Ridge Lightweight Pertex Waterproof Jacket

This jacket is made from Pertex Shield fabric – it’s the more waterproof but less packable sibling to the Esker jacket. The helmet fits over your hood, and gills to the rear sides give ventilation. Two zipped front pockets reveal mesh pouches, handy to stop snacks or your phone from moving around in your pockets, and further ventilation is tucked under flaps just above the front pocket zips. A rear waterproof softshell panel provides added breathability.

How Do I Enter?

Log in to reveal the entry form in this story and answer the question you’ll find there. The answer you seek will be in the video above.

Answering the daily question gives you two chances to win: you’ll be entered into the daily draw for that day’s prize; and you’ll also get one entry into the Megasack draw.

Every time you correctly answer a daily question and enter a daily draw, you get another entry into the Megasack. You can go back and enter the daily answers after that daily prize has been drawn, and it will still give you an extra entry into the Megasack draw.

Each daily draw tales place at 3pm the following day so you have until that time to get your entry in. Entries that come in after that time will still be entered n the megaSack draw at the end of the month.

The rules are strictly one member one entry/day. If we detect any attempt at multiple daily entries we will remove all those users entries from the draw.

And another thing… Really sorry to our overseas readers but we can only send prizes to a UK address. If you have a friend or an address you can use in the UK for a prize then by all means enter.

Can’t see the entry form? Most likely you are not logged in. log in

    The Altura jackets are great.
I have the Mayhem and Mayhem 2 – both great, the original Mayhem is a great winter jacket as it’s thicker than the 2.

In my head, I’ve always pronounced it Alchewra
Don’t think I’ve had call to say it out loud.
