Andi brushes off his eMTB to ride with rising YouTube star Tommy C Hype in his latest video edit.

For some, a mid-life-crisis might mean buying a 2 seater sports car but Andi is doing it differently. Instead of a toupee or heading back to Rock World, Andi is riding with the cool kids and not many riders are as cool as Tommy C Hype.

Both Andi and Tommy C Hype ride on the same trails, but this is the first time they rode together and there are already plans for more near-death trail tech for the pair in the future. Stay tuned.

For those wondering why Andi chose to ride is Patrol E-Six the answer is he has a bunch of test kit fitted to it including new Hunt e-Enduro wheels, a Microshift Advent X groupset and new Schwalbe tyres. He was also worried the young guns would leave him for dust on the climbs…

Andi is a gadget guru and mountain biker who has lived and ridden bikes in China and Spain before settling down in the Peak District to become Singletrack's social media expert. He is definitely more big travel fun than XC sufferer but his bike collection does include some rare hardtails - He's a collector and curator as well as a rider. Theory and practice in perfect balance with his inner chi, or something. As well as living life based on what he last read in a fortune cookie Andi likes nothing better than riding big travel bikes.
