Oh, now this is lovely. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the Evil Insurgent. Yummy:A smidge over 150mm of travel, with the usual ‘Long, Low, Slack’ words attached, and it’s the first Evil to cater to 27.5in wheels.
Gorgeous chain device. Carbon, you know. The suspension is a single pivot, with lots of linkage between it and the shock, which apparently give it a dual rate curve. The whole shebang was designed by Mr Weagle.
Internal rear mech routing. It’s 1x specific. Prices start at $2799; UK prices TBC
And here’s The Following, which was announced earlier this year. A 29er ripper with the usual low, long, slack stuff again. Looks gorgeous in the flesh.A similar pivot and linkage system yields 120mm of travel in a dual rate fashion. We like.

Is it me or does that cable run look wrong….?
What does it weigh?
Cable routing on my Following is the best internal routing I’ve come across on a FS bike yet. Very well thought out routing IMO.
Weight wise, my Following was just under 6.5lb inc shock, so I’d expect a bit more for the Insurgent given its gravity bias.
There’s so much going on around the BB/linkage on that Following at first glance it looks like an e-bike…
